Langtang Valley Trek

A beautiful and relatively easy trek through the Langtang Valley has to be one of the most rewarding of the short treks available anywhere in Nepal. The east-west running valley is the site of some spectacular alpine scenery. The trek to this region is one of the easiest ways to explore the bio-diversity, wildlife and excellent panorama. A minimum of a week is required but trekkers are well advised to add a few extra days for acclimatization and for side trips in the valley. Along the journey, you will walk through the Langtang National Park, the first Himalayan national park of Nepal. Although wildlife is never easy to spot in the forest setting, there is a possibility to see some interesting animals and birds such as monkey, musk deer, danphe (the national bird of Nepal) etc.
